Despite the long-term decline in digital currencies, geopolitical risks and high inflation, the size of venture capital investments has continued to grow since the beginning of the year, effectively foreshadowing a future global economic recession.

Investors invested in Lunar for objective local reasons. 70 million euros of investments were allocated against the backdrop of a significant relaxation of the central bank's stance on cryptocurrencies and the refusal of large commercial banks to block the practice of payments associated with digital asset exchanges.

Lunar used this moment to launch a cryptocurrency exchange. The investment received will be used to create a B2B payments platform to go beyond retail cryptocurrency payment processing to retailers. Part of the investment will be used to develop the institutional customer service department and create the DeFi service.
