eBay Investor Day Presentation (eBay)

eBay has been floating the idea of cryptocurrency payments for some time, most recently in late February when CEO Jamie Iannone told TheStreet that the company was looking into the potential of accepting cryptocurrencies as it aims to become the marketplace of choice for Generation Z and millennials.

eBay already allows the sale of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on its platform.

The company did not have any specifics about cryptocurrency payments during the presentation other than to say that its digital wallet will be available in the second quarter.

CEO Iannone did say that eBay is "continuing to look for new ways to add payments as we complete the rollout of global payments."

Update (March 10, 18:36 CST): Iannone review added.
