The Brazilian construction company MRV (MRVE3), headquartered in Belo Horizonte, issued a statement yesterday, February 3, 2022, which should be of interest to shareholders. According to the company, the manager, VELT Partners Investimentos, increased its exposure to MRV shares.
In this sense, the Manager made an acquisition of more than twenty-four million shares. In other words, it now holds more than 5% of all the outstanding common shares of the construction company MRV.
VELT Partners, which was responsible for the aforementioned acquisition, is optimistic about the future of MRV. As a result, the manager expects the construction company to stand out among its peers in the sector. However, Brazil's civil construction industry is still struggling to fully recover. Therefore, this risk could disrupt MRV's performance.
