Developers across the ethereum ecosystem are using the Alpha wallet as the foundation for a secure, flexible wallet for a variety of assets and use cases in Web3.

Smart Token Labs announced that the Alpha wallet has been publicly forked over 500 times, making it the most forked and fully open source EVM wallet. Developers around the world have used the Alpha Wallet source code to create over 500 derivative wallets covering a wide range of assets and use cases.

Launched in 2018, Alpha Wallet was the first digital currency package to natively support NFT. With a major update in 2019, Alpha Wallet is the first mobile digital currency package to use an on-device Secure Enclave to provide users with hardware-level "cold wallet-level" security.

Alpha Wallet 3.0, released in 2020, supports all EVM networks, including all test networks, and comes with many features that make it highly accessible to developers. For general super user agent scenarios, Alpha Wallet offers TokenScript compatibility. TokenScript allows builders to integrate their token logic into the wallet itself, resulting in a native mobile user experience where users can use all the native features in their token cards and do not need to open Dapps.

Alpha Wallet is built with full ENS integration, which will allow users to use many advanced ENS features: such as displaying ENS avatars and updating ENS names. It is compatible with iOS and Android, and has secure, cross-platform functionality across more than 32 networks.

We are proud to see that the source code for the Alpha wallet is already being used by many developers in the Ether ecosystem," said Victor Zhang, CEO of Smart Token Labs. Smart Token Labs is committed to creating tools that are as flexible as Ether itself – everything we create is open, accessible and free for people to build the tools they want in Web3.

The User Agent (wallet) is the most influential layer in the entire web3 stack, and it can easily influence users' decisions about what DApp to use, what layer2 to connect to, and what layer1 to connect to. It is important that the User Agent (wallet) remains neutral – it should be owned and managed by the builder and the user . "

About Smart Token Lab

Smart Token Labs is creating a new standard for the future of tokenization. Since 2017, it has been building two core bridges to this future: AlphaWallet, a super user agent for smart tokens, and TokenScript, a smart token interface for token composability. Built specifically for Web3, where tokens are as ubiquitous as web pages, TokenScript is a token-centric framework for building combinable smart tokens for NFT, PlayFi, DeFi, the metaverse, and use cases across the Web3 spectrum.
