Tezos reached a new deal worth $27 million with Manchester United, while Baby Doge also reached a deal with a German professional football team to launch the NFT, so let's read further about the latest Tezos news today.

Manchester United is one of the biggest football teams in the world and Tezos has reportedly struck a new training kit sponsorship deal with the club. The deal is worth up to $27 million per year, which allows Tezos to place its logo on the team's training uniforms. Manchester United finalized the filming of promotional materials ahead of the official announcement. Reports indicate that the partnership may involve collaboration in technical areas such as the Metaverse or other Web3 projects.

Tezos has already made a similar investment in the sports sector. Back in 2021, Redbull Racing announced Tezos as an official blockchain partner. Tezos also built the first irreplaceable token fan experience, which launched later that year in November. McLaren Racing made a similar announcement, recognizing Tezos as its official technology partner with multi-year agreements with Formula 1 and eSports teams, so the network was used to launch McLaren's NFT series by October 2021.

Manchester United is at the top level of pro-English soccer known as the Premier League and joins other clubs that have entered into sponsorship deals or other fan token partnerships. Back in 2021, Dogcoin partnered with Watford Football Club as a sponsor for the 2021/2022 season and had its logo printed on the players' shirts. Both Manchester City and Arsenal have launched fan tokens on various platforms such as Bitci and Socios.

Meanwhile, Doge and SHIB-inspired meme coin Baby Doge has also announced a partnership with TSG Hoffenheim, a professional soccer club in Germany's top soccer league. In a statement, the German club confirmed that Baby Doge will be the club's official partner and that the deal also includes key promotional materials that will see the token advertised on billboards around the stadium. Hoffenheim CEO Danny Streicher noted.

“TSG Hoffenheim is excited to be working with an innovative and leading brand like Baby Doge. We are excited and look forward to a successful partnership as we bring the club’s NFT line and other exciting programs to life.”

On the other hand, Floki Inu has also entered into a partnership agreement with Italian professional soccer club SSC Napoli. This deal allows Napoli players to have the Floki Inu logo on the back of their jerseys.
