Baby Doge Coin (BABYDOGE), the most interesting meme coin among the popular Turkish cryptocurrencies, has taken its place among the dog coins that have been agreed with soccer clubs.
Baby Doge, the Shiba Inu-inspired cryptocurrency, announced that it has partnered with German soccer club TSG Hoffenheim.
#TSG Hoffenheim 🤝 @BabyDogeCoinLeading crypto coin @BabyDogeCoin is now an official partner of #TSG and will work with us to develop club-specific NFTs 👥
As part of the deal, the club will work with the Baby Doge team to develop an irreplaceable token (NFT) collection.
At all of the team's home games, the cryptocurrency, epitomized by Dogcoin, will be advertised on LED boards around the stadium. It will be co-branded content created by Hoffenheim and Baby Doge.
Commenting on the partnership, Mike Watson, project manager at Baby Doge LLC, described TSG Hoffenheim as a "forward-thinking" and "technology-centric" club. In addition, Watson said the partnership will strengthen and expand BabyDoge's presence in the European Union, as the cryptocurrency will become part of the Bundesliga, Germany's top professional soccer league, as a result of the partnership.
"As a community-focused program, we strive to expand our global reach by allowing Baby Doge to showcase our availability and build strategic partnerships with world-class organizations. In this way, we can establish ourselves in the sports community."
Founded in 1945, Hoffenheim finished the 2017-2018 season in third place in the Bundesliga, qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for the first time.
With her latest deal, Baby Doge is showing the community that she is following in the footsteps of Floki Inu. According to KoinFinans, the Elon Musk's Shiba Inu dog-inspired cryptocurrency has partnered with a number of major soccer clubs, including Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Lazio FC and Kerela Blasters.
Meanwhile, blockchain platform Tezos has reportedly signed a major sponsorship deal with English soccer giants Manchester United.
According to CoinGecko's statistics, Baby Doge Coin has been popular in Turkey recently, with investors missing out on the rise of meme coins like Dogecoin or Shiba inu. Although BabyDoge, the most popular cryptocurrency among Turks, lost its ranking to Radio Raca (RACA), a meta-cosmic coin, last month, it remains in the top ranking for a long time.
Is Baby Doge's rally over?
Launched in June 2021, BABYDOGE is a cryptocurrency based on the Coin Smartchain, created by anonymous developers in the online dogcoin community. The website describes the emoji coin as.
"Baby Dogcoin: It tries to impress its father, Dogcoin, by showing off its new and improved transaction speed and cuteness."
Unlike the largest meme cryptocurrencies, Shiba Inu and Dogecoin, Baby Doge started the year off well, as its price more than doubled at the beginning of January.
On January 16, the community's most popular emoji coin hit an all-time high, hitting a record $0.000000006345. However, the token, which could no longer be held, eventually succumbed to trends in other cryptocurrency markets and began to fall rapidly in late January. BabyDoge is trading at $0.000000003915, down nearly 39% from its record level.
