The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) is inviting applications from members of its Independent Investor Advisory Panel (IAP), which provides investor perspectives on policy, rulemaking and other regulatory initiatives.

The IAP provides advice and commentary on proposed rules, policies and investor protection initiatives, taking into account the views of a broad range of investors through consultation with investors and organizations representing them.

The IAP is an important voice for investors in the regulatory process and new members will be selected to ensure that the group continues to represent a broad range of relevant experience, skills, knowledge and perspectives.

Several current IAP member terms will end in the coming year. New members will be appointed in phases beginning at various points throughout the year depending on when the vacancies occur.

Members will serve for a maximum of two years and will be compensated for their time in completing the IAP mission.

A selection committee consisting of the OSC CEO and two executive directors will interview shortlisted candidates and appoint new members. For information on Investor Advisory Panel activities, please refer to the Investor Advisory Panel at www.osc.ca.

Interested individuals are invited to submit resumes indicating their relevant experience by Thursday, March 3. Applications and questions about IAP can be sent to
